CLASSIC AND CONTEMPORARY MUSIC WILL BE PLAYING IN THE ATRIUM OF BOCCONI UNIVERSITY, IN OCCASION OF THE EVENT ORGANIZED BY THE BOCCONI STUDENTS MUSIC ASSOCIATION. THE CONCERT WILL FEATURE A PIANO AND FLUTE PERFORMANCE BY THREE STUDENTS.

Samantha Montesarchio, second year Cleacc student, cannot conceive her own identity unless it involves a piano. On the other hand, Marta Guidolin, first year student at Cles, fell in love with the flute after listening to a friend’s concert. Together with Povilas Žinys, pianist and double degree student in economics and management of innovation and technology, Samantha and Marta will inaugurate the first Campus Live concert, organized by BMSA (Bocconi Students Music Association) on Friday, March 20^th at 12.30 PM in the atrium of Università Bocconi, via Sarfatti 25.

It was during the arrangement of the concert that Samantha and Marta first met, and decided right away that they would be playing in a duo. They are going to perform O. Taktakishvili Sonata for flute and piano (2^nd movement), Dance of the blessed spirits from C. W. Gluck’s Orpheus and Eurydice, J.  S. Bach’s Air on the G string arranged for flute and piano and, lastly, Sunrise, an unreleased piece which stems from the collaboration between the two musicians.

During the second part of the concert, Povilas Žinys will perform two piano songs by Luigi Einaudi, Una mattina (One morning) and Nuvole bianche (White clouds), Yuruma’s Maybe and J. Pachelbel’s Canon in D.
