Milano, the Place to Be: Bocconi Meets Daniel Libeskind
Architectural change as a key for the cultural renaissance in Milan: this will be the topic of the conversation between Daniel Libeskind, the archistar who designed the third CityLife tower, and journalist Nicola Porro. The event, organized by SDA Bocconi, will be held on Tuesday 2 February at 6pm (Aula magna di via Gobbi 5).
A Polish-American architect, Libeskind is known for having introduced a new critical vision of architecture with a multidisciplinary approach and being one of the main representatives of deconstructivism. One of his most original and interesting works is the Jewish Museum in Berlin (1998). In 2003, his design was chosen for the rebuilding of the World Trade Center in New York. Many of his other designs are currently under construction, including the third CityLife tower in Milan.
SDA Bocconi’s work in Real Estate will be discussed during the event, as part of the new Executive Master in Finance. The program aims to train new leaders in finance.
Participation is free, but online registration is required. The event will be held in Italian with simultaneous translation provided.
Daniel Libeskind will also present the book "Libeskind Tower Milano" edited by Skira.
