From Coding, to Economics, to the Business of Fashion: in July students from all continents at Bocconi University's Summer School

APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN FOR THE 2018 BOCCONI SUMMER SCHOOL, THE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL IN MILAN OPEN TO BACHELOR AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, TO DEEPEN KNOWLEDGE OF ONE OF THE MANY DIFFERENT SUBJECTS PROPOSED: FROM ENTREPRENEURSHIP TO CODING, FROM DIGITAL MARKETING TO FASHION BUSINESS

Bocconi University, with the Bocconi Summer School, in July opens the doors of its campus in the centre of Milan to international students interested in living an intensive learning experience made up of lessons, company visits and discovering the city. University or high school students will have the opportunity to learn more about one of the different topics proposed: from Economics of the EU to Coding, from Finance to Fashion and Design Management, from Digital Marketing to International Politics. Applications to the intensive study programs (taught in English) close on April 26 for bachelor students and May 3 for high school students.

“The strength of the Summer School is that it combines a theoretical part made up of classes, business cases and meetings with guest speakers, with different opportunities to experience the reality of business in person, through the organization of company visits ", explains Stefano Caselli, Dean for International Affairs at Bocconi University. “All this surrounded by various activities in the city of Milan and in a highly multicultural environment". In fact, a total of about 700 students from all continents took part in the three previous editions: at the 2017 Summer School students were of 40 different nationalities.

The Summer School for international students enrolled in a bachelor degree program foresees three weeks of study (2-20 July) and the choice of one of the seven courses offered: Economics of European Union, Equity and Venture Capital Financing, Fashion and Design Management, International Business, Luxury Management and the two new entrants this year: Digital Marketing and Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management.

The Summer School dedicated to young people aged between 16 and 18 years provides two weeks of teaching (July 2-13) and the choice of two subjects to be studied in depth from the ten options offered: Entrepreneurship, Digital marketing, International politics, Finance, Strategy, Economics, Computer coding, Luxury and fashion, Game theory, Economics of European Union.
